SOUL CARE FOR THE BOLD.

2025 End of the year campaign

Join Us in funding soul care for the bold

Give now

Our goal is to raise $150,000 by year’s end to fully fund the Soul Care gatherings that strengthened these leaders—covering travel, lodging, trauma-informed facilitation, translation, and continued care throughout the year.

In 2025, Uncharted created safe, sacred spaces for leaders serving in the hardest places—pastors, church planters, and disciple-makers who risk everything for the gospel.

Through Soul Care retreats in Myanmar, Serbia and the Himalayas, they found rest, healing, and renewed courage to keep saying yes to God.

WATCH THE FILM

Around the world, courageous pastors and church planters are serving under pressure most of us will never feel. This short film pulls back the curtain—showing how rest, healing, and community are fueling the gospel in the hardest places.

In overlooked regions the work is costly. Soul Care prioritizes spiritual, emotional, and relational health through intercession, secure gatherings, and ongoing check-ins—so courageous Christians can endure and flourish.

PEOPLE BEFORE PROJECTS

HELP SUSTAIN SOUL CARE

WHAT IS SOUL CARE?

Uncharted’s Soul Care is people-first support for Christians serving in the hardest places. We cover leaders in ongoing intercession, convene confidential retreats in secure, vetted locations, and stay present with regular check-ins, resources, and aftercare. Because some Field Partners face real persecution, we protect identities, use regional names, and never share live locations. The goal: restored hearts, resilient teams, and long-term faithfulness in overlooked regions.

  • We mobilize targeted prayer for leaders across the Himalayas, North Africa, the Balkans, and beyond—by name when secure, by region when needed. Requests come through trusted channels and are shared with a curated intercessor list. Monthly prompts, occasional fasts, and encrypted updates keep the burden shared and the work covered.

  • We host 2–3 day Soul Care retreats and regional meetups designed for rest, listening prayer, and encouragement—always in controlled, pre-vetted venues with limited invitations, translation support, and trauma-aware facilitators. Scholarships, travel, and follow-up care are built in so leaders return strengthened, not spent.

  • Between trips, we stay close: scheduled check-ins, peer cohorts, emergency care, resourceS, and secure communications. We track needs over time so no one carries the weight alone.

FAQs

WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY SOUL CARE?

A posture and practice of prioritizing spiritual, emotional, and relational health—so leaders, donors, and churches can live brave faith for the long haul.

HOW DO YOU PROTECT PEOPLE IN SECURE LOCATIONS?

Protecting our Field Partners is our first priority. Some serve in the hardest places where following Jesus can bring real persecution. We host retreats and gatherings only in secure, controlled locations with vetted invitations, no public promotion, and clear safety protocols. We never share live location data. We use regional names (e.g., “North Africa,” “Himalayas”), avoid faces in uncontrolled contexts, and share details strictly on a need‑to‑know basis. We never publish sensitive personal information.

WHERE DOES A SOUL CARE GIFT GO?

To retreats, regional gatherings, travel and lodging for participants, translation and secure communication, care resources, and year‑round check‑ins by our team.

CAN MY CHURCH HOST A SOUL CARE RETREAT?

The best thing to do is get in touch with us first. We’d love to discuss a plan that blesses field leaders and aligns with your church’s mission.

CAN I ATTEND A RETREAT?

Vision Trips are great for donors and advocates. Soul Care retreats for field leaders are intentionally small and curated; serving roles may be available by invitation.

IS THIS COUNSELING?

We’re not a counseling center. We focus on prayer, presence, and care. When appropriate, we help connect leaders with trusted professional resources.
